RedOctane Games, lo studio legato alla nascita di Guitar Hero, ha annunciato la data di uscita di Stage Tour, il nuovo rhythm game che punta a raccogliere l’eredità della celebre serie musicale.
L’annuncio è arrivato in occasione dell’Opening Night Live, dove un nuovo trailer ha confermato il debutto del gioco per il 10 dicembre su PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC e Nintendo Switch 2.
Contestualmente sono stati aperti anche i preordini, sia per il gioco sia per i diversi bundle con le periferiche dedicate. Il pacchetto base, che comprende una copia di Stage Tour e una chitarra, viene proposto a partire da 134,99 euro.
La formula di Stage Tour riprende da vicino quella resa popolare da Guitar Hero. I giocatori dovranno seguire le note mostrate a schermo e potranno vestire i panni di chitarrista, bassista, batterista o cantante, sfruttando le rispettive periferiche compatibili.
Insieme alla data di lancio, RedOctane Games ha inoltre svelato 45 degli oltre 90 brani che comporranno la tracklist disponibile al debutto. La selezione spazia tra rock, metal, alternative e pop, alternando grandi classici a produzioni più recenti.
Tra gli artisti presenti figurano Metallica, Megadeth, Slipknot, Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Paramore, Radiohead, Avril Lavigne e Olivia Rodrigo.
