Si è chiuso a Las Vegas l’annuale DICE Summit, culminato nella 29ª edizione dei DICE Awards, i riconoscimenti assegnati dall’Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences e votati da oltre 30.000 professionisti dell’industria videoludica.
In totale sono stati candidati 65 giochi distribuiti in 23 categorie. A guidare la corsa alle nomination sono stati Ghost of Yōtei e Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, entrambi con otto candidature, seguiti da diversi altri titoli pluripremiati.
La cerimonia è stata trasmessa in diretta dall’Aria Resort & Casino di Las Vegas alle 23:00 (ora della costa Est USA), come tradizione per uno degli appuntamenti più prestigiosi del settore.
Come sempre, però, per ogni categoria c’è un solo vincitore: dal Game of the Year alla direzione artistica, dal design dei personaggi alla progettazione del gameplay.
A dominare l’edizione 2026 è stato Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, capace di conquistare cinque premi, incluso quello di Gioco dell’Anno. Ghost of Yōtei ha ottenuto tre riconoscimenti, mentre Death Stranding 2: On the Beach e Blue Prince hanno chiuso con due premi ciascuno.
