Al Shanghia Expo, la Marvel ha iniziato a stuzzicare i fan di Avengers: Doomsday in vista del San Diego Comic-Con, che si terrà a fine luglio – il 25 luglio, salvo soprese, dovrebbe arrivare il primo e attesissimo trailer pubblico.
Sul palco della conferenza a Shanghai, Feige ha così descritto il Victor Von Doom di Robert Downey Jr:
È uno scienziato, un genio della tecnologia, uno stregone ed un sovrano… per incarnare la complessità, la tragedia ed il carisma di questo personaggio avevamo bisogno del più grande attore al mondo.
Ha anche parlato della reazione di RDJ alla sua proposta di vestire i panni di Destino dopo quelli di Iron Man:
Era entusiasta. Se non ricordo male, le sue parole esatte sono state: “Ho interpretato l’eroe migliore di tutti, posso interpretare anche il villain migliore di tutti.”
Avengers: Doomsday uscirà nei cinema italiani il 16 dicembre 2026.
