Il New York Times ha appena eletto Breaking Bad come la miglior serie tv del terzo millennio: Heisenberg domina ancora
Il Times ha promosso un sondaggio su larga scala coinvolgendo un panel di oltre cinquecento professionisti del settore — tra cui attori di primo piano, showrunner, tecnici ed executive. A ciascuno è stato chiesto di indicare le dieci migliori serie uscite a partire dal 1° gennaio 2000 ad oggi – motivo per cui sono esclusi grandi classici come I Soprano, che ha debuttato nel 1999.
Il risultato è che la serie di Vince Gilligan con Bryan Cranston e Aaron Paul è stata eletta come la miglior serie tv del terzo millennio, davanti ad altri prodotti seriali di enorme successo come Lost, Game of Thrones, Twin Peak, Chernobyl e molte altre ancora.
